Warranty conditions
General information
The warranty provider is Positron-e GmbH, Degernpoint H 4, 85368 Moosburg (hereinafter referred to as “Warranty Provider” or “Positron-e”). Positron-e provides the consumer with a functional warranty for all products purchased from Positron-e under the following conditions. “Consumer” within the meaning of this warranty is any natural person who is the owner of the product, has purchased it directly from Positron-e, and has not purchased the product for resale or for use in the course of their commercial or independent professional activity. This warranty is in addition to the statutory warranty and is subject to applicable law.
Scope
The warranty always begins on the day of purchase of the electrical appliance from Positron-e and covers all material and manufacturing defects that may occur during normal use of the product. The granting of services under the warranty does not extend the warranty period, nor does it restart the warranty period.
Services
In the event of a defect in your Positron-e product covered by this warranty, Positron-e guarantees the repair, replacement of the product, or reimbursement of the device value. The decision between repair or replacement of the devices is at the discretion of Positron-e. In this respect, the guarantor may, at its own discretion, decide to replace the device sent in for repair under warranty free of charge with a device of equal or higher value. Alternatively, Positron-e may pay out the value of the device at the time of the warranty claim. If a refund of the device value is chosen and this is confirmed in writing, Positron-e shall retain the device and refund the device value to the consumer at the time of the warranty claim.
- Consumables such as batteries and rechargeable batteries
- Damage caused during transport and installation
- Fragile parts such as display screens
- Operating errors, damage caused by the use of faulty media (sticky VHS tapes, etc.)
- Damage caused by aggressive environmental influences
If the repair reveals that the fault is not covered by the warranty, Positron-e reserves the right to charge the customer for the costs incurred in the form of a handling fee and the cost of repair for materials and labor according to a cost estimate.
Exclusion
For failure and damage caused by external influences, accidental damage, improper use, modifications made to the device, conversions, extensions, use of third-party parts, neglect, improper transport, improper packaging, or loss during return of the device to Positron-e.
The warranty shall expire if the fault in the device is caused by maintenance or repair carried out by anyone other than Positron-e. The warranty shall also expire if warranty stickers have been removed or peeled off or if any part of the device has been modified or made illegible.

If the problem cannot be solved over the phone, the customer will be provided with the shipping address.
Upon receipt of the package, the contents will be checked by Positron-e technicians and the customer will be informed of the status of the warranty claim or the repaired device will be returned to the customer. Please ensure that your device is securely packaged for transport if it needs to be sent in. The warranty provider accepts no liability for any additional materials sent in that are not part of the original scope of delivery of the Positron-e device. Please provide us with a description of the fault that is as detailed as possible along with the device.
Legal rights
In addition to the rights under the warranty, the consumer is entitled to their statutory rights. These rights, which may be more favorable to the consumer, are not restricted by the warranty. The warranty also does not affect the rights that the original purchaser and, where applicable, the consumer have against the manufacturer from whom the original purchaser acquired the product.
Place of performance and applicable law
This warranty is governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) of April 11, 1980. The place of performance for the obligations arising from this warranty is 85368 Moosburg, Germany.
