Kenwood DP-R3090 — 5-disc CD changer with 1-bit dual D/A converter

Load five CDs at once and listen for hours without getting up in between: that is what Kenwood built the DP-R3090 Multiple CD Player for. The wide drawer holds all discs at the same time, and the keys on the front take the unit straight to the CD you want. Conversion to analogue is handled by a 1-bit design with two D/A converters, which Kenwood marks with the lettering “1BIT DUAL D/A CONVERTER” on the front panel.

The changer shows its strengths on long evenings, at parties or as quiet background music, whenever the music should keep running without attention. It connects in the classic way via RCA to the line input of an amplifier or receiver. Owners of a Kenwood system with system control can also integrate it into the setup via the System Control jacks.
