Advanced AL32 Processing Plus: Denon's exclusive analog waveform reproduction technology uses special data interpolation algorithms. It supports high-resolution audio sources and smooths the waveform to restore lost data. Hi-Res Audio via USB: The USB-A port on the front turns the CD player into a modern media center. It plays high-resolution files such as FLAC, WAV, ALAC (up to 192 kHz/24-bit) and DSD 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz directly from a memory stick.
DAC Master Clock Design: To drastically reduce jitter (digital clock jitter), the D/A converter in the DCD-800NE acts as the master for the clock signal. The oscillators are located directly on the converter, which guarantees extremely precise digital-to-analog conversion.
Vibration-suppressing construction: The "Direct Mechanical Ground Construction" design directs unwanted vibrations (e.g., from the transformer) directly to the feet and thus into the floor to protect the audio signal from mechanical interference.
