Dual CC 8050 — 3-head cassette deck with off-tape monitoring, Dolby B/C, music search and fade in/out

Hearing straight away what has actually ended up on the tape while you record — that is what Dual built the CC 8050 for. Behind the cassette door sit a dedicated erase head plus separate record and playback heads, so monitoring can be switched between the input signal and the tape at any moment. Two motors under microprocessor-controlled full-logic command handle tape transport; the deck is operated with light-touch keys rather than mechanical levers.

The deck suits listeners who make their own cassettes from vinyl, CD or radio and like to keep an eye on the level as they go — and to anyone who occasionally records speech or a live signal straight through a microphone. On the playback side, a music search function and a counter memory make it quick to find individual tracks again. Finished in black, the unit blends in with classic hi-fi systems.
