JVC HR-V611 VHS video recorder with Hi-Fi stereo, NICAM and SQPB

The JVC HR-V611 combines Hi-Fi stereo sound and NICAM/A2 reception with a feature unusual for this class of recorder: via SQPB it also plays back tapes recorded in the S-VHS format, and thanks to NTSC playback on PAL televisions it can show VHS recordings originating from the US or Japan directly on a domestic TV, handy for collectors with international tapes or when reviewing old holiday footage recorded abroad. 16:9 playback and the B.E.S.T. Picture System keep the image clean, while T-V Link makes operation easier. The 6-head transport also works in long-play mode.
