Funai TD6D-D4413DB — VHS DVD hard disk recorder with 320 GB hard drive and DV input

Three drives in one housing: video cassette, DVD and a 320 GB hard drive work together in the Funai TD6D-D4413DB and pass their content back and forth. That makes the unit a tool for anyone who wants to preserve a VHS archive – tapes are copied to the hard drive, edited, titled and divided into chapters there, and then moved to DVD. Copying back to cassette is possible as well.

Camcorder footage enters via the DV input on the front, and music, photo and DivX files play from USB stick and disc. The recorder connects to a current television via HDMI, which also carries cassette playback. The built-in tuner only receives analogue television and DVB-T – both have been switched off in Germany; recordings are made via SCART or DV from external sources.
