Panasonic DMR-BST700 — Blu-ray recorder with 320 GB hard drive, 3D playback and SCART recording

Two drives in one slim housing: a 320 GB hard drive captures video material without changing discs, and a Blu-ray burner then takes care of long-term storage. Panasonic designed the DMR-BST700 in its DIGA series for anyone who wants not only to watch films but to collect, organise and archive them. Recordings can be preserved on BD-R and BD-RE with up to 50 GB per disc or on recordable DVDs.

The unit is well placed next to a video recorder: cassette content is captured in real time via the SCART input, and holiday films from the camcorder are added by SD card or USB. At the television, the recorder also serves as a Full HD source for Blu-ray films, in 3D if desired, as well as DVDs and music CDs. Connected to the home network by cable, it shares its hard drive content with DLNA-capable devices in the house.

Highlights & Features
