Panasonic SL-VM515 — 5-disc Video CD changer with karaoke features

Five discs on one rotating tray and two microphone sockets right on the front panel: the Panasonic SL-VM515 combines a CD changer with a karaoke station. Besides audio CDs it plays Video CDs and CD+G discs with on-screen lyrics. The picture reaches the TV via a composite video output, the sound goes to the amplifier via a pair of RCA sockets. Disc handling is taken care of by the rotary changer system, which holds all five discs side by side on a single tray.

The unit belongs wherever music is not just listened to but sung along — in the party room, the clubhouse or the living room. Owners of a karaoke or Video CD collection can load several discs at once and get through the evening without constant swapping. It also works as a plain CD source for the stereo system.
