Denon DBT-1713UD — universal player for Blu-ray 3D, Super Audio CD and DVD-Audio

Anyone who watches films on Blu-ray and also listens to music on Super Audio CD, DVD-Audio or CD gets both in one black chassis with Denon’s DBT-1713UD. The unit belongs to the class of universal players: a single drive reads all common disc formats, and thanks to the separately built circuit blocks (Independent Block Construction) the audio and video signals stay shielded from interference generated by neighbouring stages. For music listening the Pure Direct key switches off the HDMI video output and, if desired, the display, so that only the audio circuitry remains active.

Typical places of use are a television or AV receiver with an HDMI input, to which the player delivers picture up to 1080p and sound as an HD bitstream, and the classic stereo system connected via the analogue RCA output. The DBT-1713UD also reads music, photo and video files from a USB memory device on the front or via DLNA from a server on the home network.
